Guidelines for In-Person Worship at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Gloucester MA
We are no longer limiting capacity in, or requiring registration for worship. To ensure everyone’s comfort, health and safety during this period, the following guidelines are required of those who attend:

  • Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that individuals continue to wear masks indoors through June 27, 2021.
  • All spaces in the church, including the sanctuary, offices, restrooms, and elevator are now open.
  • There will be an Outside Coffee Hour.  Masks are not required outdoors, though individuals are welcome to wear them if they choose.
  • Please refrain from touching other worshippers during the sharing of the peace (except those in your own family or  group). Nodding or bowing is a friendly way to greet another person in these circumstances.
  • Singing, with masks on, is welcome!
  • Consecrated wafers will continue to be distributed by the pastor at communion through June 27th.  We will then re-introduce the distribution of wine with individual cups.
  • If you don’t feel well, have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms, or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, please do not attend worship in person.  We will continue to livestream and post worship services online throughout the summer.
